About

Stories have been a part of my life since my mom began reading Dr. Seuss books to me when I was a toddler. My particular favorites were Horton Hatches an Egg and Dr. Seuss's ABC. From there, my love for the written word exploded.

I graduated from Taylor University in 2020 with my degree in professional writing. During my time at Taylor, I discovered my skill and passion for helping others make their writing the best it can be. The Lord then gave me the opportunity to use that skill through an internship with Illuminate YA Fiction and Hartline Literary Agency. Since then, I've had the privilege of working as a freelance editor for publishing houses and independent authors alike.

I've also had the opportunity to contribute articles to multiple websites and print publications, including YMI, ECLA, biblestudytools.com, and Christianity.com.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. In my (limited) free time, I can often be found crocheting, reading, and listening to true crime podcasts. God has blessed me richly, and I seek to thank him for that every day.
